Swedish national XC team in Craft running shoes

Craft Sportswear and the Swedish national XC team have cooperated for many years in the development of functional clothes for training and racing. Now the collaboration grows even stronger when the national skiers will also use the Swedish brand’s running shoes for their running workouts. 

"We have worked extremely hard for several years with the development of our shoe collection, and it’s amazingly fun that the stars on the national XC team now choose us as their shoe partner," says Craft’s Product & Marketing Director Daniel Högling. "It shows that we have succeeded in our product development, while it will be very exciting to continue developing the shoes together with some of the world's best and most demanding athletes."

Many hours of running

The Swedish Ski Association is also very pleased with the deepened cooperation with Craft. "Our skiers do a lot of running, mainly during the pre-season but also during the winter months," says Johan Sares, head of cross-country skiing at the Swedish Ski Association. "Craft’s running shoes have received consistently high ratings from our skiers, and the Vibram outer sole with its perfect grip on all surfaces is very popular. It’s definitely unusual for shoes to provide both great grip on trail surfaces and at the same time offer a fantastic running feel on asphalt. In addition, we like the shoes’ technical appearance and the lightweight yet durable upper."

The newly signed contract means that Craft supplies the skiers with running shoes for all their running workouts. The agreement extends over two years and applies to the national team, national development team and national junior team.
