EOP除了用于将驱动电机的冷却用油送出之外，在燃油车中，随着自带怠速启停功能车型的普及，也用于在发动机停止时向CVT及A/T等变速箱提供润滑油。日本电产东测的EOP也被搭载在集团销售的电驱系统——“E-Axle”上，并在市场上销售。
