Now in the second winter Valle will introduce his unique ski school. Valle’s ski school teaches all kids from 3 to 9 years how to ski and to be safe and secure skiers with educated ski instructors from St. Johann’s local ski schools.

More Britons are choosing SkiStar's resorts for their skiing holidays; Bookings up 35 % in Åre and Vemdalen
Throughout the winter it's been possible to fly direct from London Gatwick to Åre/Östersund Airport with easyJet, and then reach Åre and Vemdalen by direct transfer. This increased accessibility for Londoners via easyJet's direct line, combined with the fact that more Britons are travelling to the resorts via a Stockholm to Åre/Östersund flights, have led to an upturn in ski tourism from the UK.
Brand new state-of-the-art accommodation in Hemsedal now open for bookings for next winter
In December, 100 new state-of-the-art apartments in a perfect location close to the ski slope in Hemsedal will be ready to receive their first guests. Good bookings and early start to the season
Early snow and cold have enabled us to open all our ski resorts earlier than in the previous year and everything is in place for good skiing conditions over Christmas and the New Year. Bookings for the next winter season are 1 percent higher than at the same point in the previous year, says CEO SkiStar, Mats Årjes
SkiStar opens for skiing in the Austrian skiresort of St. Johann
It's time to open for skiing at SkiStar's new ski resort, St. Johann in Tirol. SkiStar has developed and improved the snow-making facilities at the Austrian resort in time for this winter. Together with the recent cold period, this means that the resort will be opening on Thursday 8 December.
