Storming into the Valley

Hot on the heels of the recent announcement that their UK office was moving to Brighton in the UK, Showstorm have today announced that they are to expand their operations to Silicon Valley California.

On the reasons for expanding out to the USA, Mark Bellinger Showstorm MD said "Let's face it, Silicon Valley is the hub where the movers and shakers in this industry hang out and Showstorm have never been followers, we have always been pioneers and creators."

Showstorm attend the Unity Vision Summit in Los Angeles earlier in the year and were totally inspired by the people they met, the projects people were working on and the vision for the future of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR).

Shortly after this event Showstorm started to experiment on their own projects, firstly by creating a fun Showstorm Showcase AR app and then moving on to their audaciously ambitious in-house project for 2016, SteamHammerVR, a beautifully designed, steampunk-themed, story-based, smash 'em up Virtual Reality gaming experience which has a demo out on Steam imminently with full game release scheduled for Winter 2016.

Also, under wraps for now but planned for its debut in Spring 2017 is ZEUS, an augmented reality system for live shows.

Mark stated, "Our clients need their professional entertainers to have cutting edge Entertainers Software and the best resources out there, I predict that ZEUS is going to change the face of live entertainment forever"
