East Midlands IT support provider celebrates half a decade of independent business solutions

Derbyshire-based managed IT support provider, Infuse Technology, has seen a record year of growth as it marks its 5-year anniversary with turnover increasing by 25% year-on-year.

Infuse was established 17 years ago as the internal IT team of award-winning national accountancy and business advisory firm, Smith Cooper. In 2014, the decision was taken for the team to re-brand independently under the name Infuse Technology, whilst still remaining part of the Smith Cooper group, to provide a fresh approach to IT services in the Midlands.

Managing Director of Infuse Technology, Paul Howard, is delighted to be celebrating this 5-year milestone. Paul commented: “We started off as an in-house support team for Smith Cooper so to now be able to sit here and see everything we have achieved over the past 17 years really does fill me with pride.

The decision to re-brand was taken because not only we were seeing growth in our client numbers, but we had spotted a void in the IT market.

There are many companies who offer IT support but very few of these actually use IT as a tool to help their clients grow their businesses. Our service offering puts the user at the heart and has been designed not only to provide an unparalleled level of support for when technical issues do arise, but to ensure all of our clients receive bespoke advice and management for all of their business issues. We are committed in helping our clients grow their business and benefiting from their technology, not just seeing it as a tool.”

For Paul, reaching this 5-year milestone is testament to the team in place at Infuse, the company’s ethos and the way it advises its clients.

He continues, “We are in a healthy position financially, allowing us to continue our growth in the future. We also work with fantastic clients, some of which have been with us from the start - so it’s good to be able to celebrate with them too!”
