Otobong Nkanga vinner Lise Wilhelmsens kunstpris

Henie Onstad Kunstsenter kan med glede offentliggjøre at Otobong Nkanga er den første vinneren av Lise Wilhelmsen Art Award Programme. Programmet vil annethvert år dele ut en kunstpris på 100,000 USD til en fremragende internasjonal kunstner. Kunstneren blir presentert med en utstilling på Høvikodden i 2020.

Otobong Nkanga receives inaugural Lise Wilhelmsen Art Award

Henie Onstad is delighted to officially announce that the inaugural winner of the Lise Wilhelmsen Art Award is Otobong Nkanga. The Programme presents 100,000 USD in prize money to an distinguished artist whose work will inspire and motivate future generations to active participation and social responsibility. The winner will feature in a dedicated exhibition at the museum the following year.
