Passengers are being advised to check before they travel this weekend as Network Rail is carrying out engineering work between London Victoria and Selhurst on 14th and 15th November, closing some lines.
Passengers travelling between Gatwick Airport and London will soon be able to use pay as you go, Rail Minister Claire Perry confirmed today (Tuesday 10 November 2015), thanks to an agreement between the government, Transport for London (TfL) and the operator, Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR).
The new timetable for Southern and Gatwick Express starts on Sunday 13 December with significant changes to off-peak services. The new timetable, designed to bring improved performance also paves the way for the final Thameslink timetable in 2018.
