Passengers across the South East will have faster, easier, more seamless journeys into and across central London, train firm Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) revealed today.
Commuters from Hitchin and Stevenage will have 50% more fast trains to King’s Cross by the end of 2018 and new services across central London stopping at Farringdon (for Crossrail and Heathrow), and London Bridge (for Canary Wharf).
Southern plans to operate 75% of its weekday services on Thursday and Friday, 29 and 30 June, and is working to improve on this number from Monday 3 July

Over the last year Southern and Sussex Community Rail Partnership’s (SCRP) Go-Learn railway education programme, focused on teaching school children about safe and independent travel, has been delivered to almost 5,500 children, whilst also receiving excellent reviews, from both teachers and youngsters. Go-Learn, continues to engage youngsters and encourage them to be safe train travellers.
