ESVAGT has been very successful with its Safe Transfer Boats (STB). The next STB12 for MHI Vestas’ SOV is on the way. All the experience gained from working at the offshore wind farms, Butendiek and Baltic II, will be taken on board.
ESVAGT's Service Operation Vessel (SOV) concept for offshore wind farms has proven to be even stronger than originally anticipated. Efficient operations open for new opportunities.
“We operate in a market that is still experiencing low levels of activity and difficult conditions. Our 2016 performance is disappointing, but taking market conditions into account, we are at an acceptable level,” says Søren Nørgaard Thomsen, CEO of ESVAGT.
Claus T. Sørensen will spearhead ESVAGT’s operations in the British market from the office in Aberdeen.
Ole Ditlev Nielsen turns 60 on the 11th May 2017. He joined ESVAGT almost 25 years ago as the company’s first safety and quality coordinator. He will now work with the future development of the company.
Recruitment and international ownership lie behind the decision to establish an ESVAGT office in Copenhagen.
For the first time since its delivery from the Zamakone Ship Yard in Spain in 2012, the ’Esvagt Aurora’ returned to dry dock at the end of April for a special survey.
“Whether the job is rescuing people in high seas or sailing wind technicians safely around an offshore wind farm, the skills of those on board the vessels are critical for ESVAGT's success. That is why we are mapping and developing the competences on board our vessels”, says Steffen Rudbech Nielsen, Head of Ship Management, Operations.
