Engagement Survey 2014 shows continued improvement

ESVAGT has satisfied employees.

The prerequisite for success at ESVAGT is a workforce that enjoys its work and is dedicated. This makes this year’s employee satisfaction analysis – the Engagement Survey – good news for the shipping company, says Nick Ørskov, Head of People & HR for ESVAGT:

”We achieved high scores and handsome results within the three main categories that cover well-being, daily working cooperation and compliance to the shipping company values in day-to-day work,” he explains.

The engagement rate reached 84 percent this year (compared to 82 percent in 2013). The engagement rate shows how many people feel happy in their work.

Manager Effectiveness Index shows how cooperation and relations with an immediate manager is experienced. This remained at the same 87 percent level as the 2013 result.

Value Index, which indicates the shipping company’s ability to live up to its fundamental core values also increased slightly to 88 percent compared to 87 percent in 2013.

”We have experienced a positive development in all parameters over the five years that we have been running the engagement survey. It is positive that we improve a little every year,” says Nick Ørskov.

Facts

Based on the results of this year’s analysis, the shipping company will focus on the following main points in the coming year:
