Danderyd Municipality launches ComAround Zero™

Danderyd Municipality has chosen to use ComAround Zero™ to relieve its IT support function. The service is to be rolled out to 500 people in the administrative network. The launch of the self-service function will take place in three stages.

Danderyd Municipality believes that the Self Service trend will grow in future. Everything in modern societyis heading in that direction, and the same is true in Danderyd Municipality. With automation and smarter, simpler work methods, processes are being speeded up, saving time for employees.

Tomas Westerberg, IT Architect at Danderyd Municipality, came into contact with ComAround and this work method in his previous job at Sollentuna Municipality, and recognised the benefit for Danderyd Municipality as well.

"The purpose of using ComAround Zero™ is in the first instance to relieve the load on IT Support. We're hoping for a change, with users finding the answers to simpler questions themselves instead of phoning Support. That will allow them to focus on more complex cases, and work more proactively," says Tomas Westerberg.

The Municipality's plan is to roll out ComAround Zero™ to the 500 people working in the administrative network during February, with a possible expansion to more later. The launch will take place in three stages. In connection with the rollout of Windows 7 and Office 2010, the site is being launched with a selected basic range of guides packaged under the title "New IT Workplace". The documentation about telephony will then be integrated. In the final stage, they will add their own guides for their business systems to ComAround Zero™.
