Pitsburgh synagogue attack

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the Jewish community and anyone affected by the terrible act at Pittsburgh synagogue over the weekend.

In Bury, one of our greatest assets is our communities living harmoniously side-by-side. We continue to stand together in solidarity as one borough, to condemn hatred, prejudice and intolerance and any form of violence aimed at any section of society.

Bury is home to a large Jewish community and we will continue to pursue ever more cohesive neighbourhoods for the benefit of all.
