The streets of Bury were filled with colour as around 1,500 runners turned out for one of the North West’s most popular charity road runs.
Local runners and racers from across the North West are getting set to head to Bury town centre on Sunday 15 September for the fourth running of the Asda Foundation Bury 10k.
Don’t forget that this Sunday is the day of the first Bury 10k and family fun run.
Bury Council consists of six towns, Bury, Ramsbottom, Tottington, Radcliffe, Whitefield and Prestwich. Formed in April 1974 as a result of Local Government re-organisation it was one of the ten original districts that formed the County of Greater Manchester. The Borough has an area of 9,919 hectares (24,511 acres) and serves a population of 187,500.
