Air Canada to establish at Stockholm Arlanda Airport – will launch two direct routes to Montreal and Toronto

Canada's largest airline, Air Canada, will establish at Stockholm Arlanda Airport with two direct routes, one of which is a new destination – Montreal – on June 12th as of next year. Operating direct routes to Toronto and Montreal five times a week, Air Canada will be an important addition to Stockholm Arlanda, connecting the Swedish capital with Canada as well as the North American market.

Swedavia’s interim report for the third quarter: continued recovery in travel, new commercial strategy and increased commercial revenues yields positive results

Swedavia reported improved operating income for the third quarter compared with the corresponding period of 2022. This was thanks to the continued recovery of the aviation market, despite global uncertainty and a weaker economy. Operating income totalled SEK 157 million, which is an increase of 110 per cent. Net revenue was SEK 1,613 million, which is an improvement of 23 per cent.

Swedavia appoints Susanne Norman as new Chief Operating Officer and Karin Öhrström as new Director of Regional Airports

Swedavia appoints Susanne Norman as new Chief Operating Officer International Airports (COO) and Karin Öhrström as new Director of Regional Airports effective 1 April 2024. Both will be part of Swedavia's executive management team. Peder Grunditz, currently serving as COO, has decided to leave Swedavia after 20 years of service in various leadership roles within the company.
