The New Asian Street Eat at Pan Pacific Manila

13 March 2019, Manila – Nothing could showcase the local culture and heritage of a country than its local street food and ethnic cuisine. These native delicacies sometimes sold by the roadside, present a colorful and fascinating sight that never fails to catch the attention of both locals and tourists curious to get acquainted with a place’s culinary treasures.

Elevating the way these home-grown Asian staples are presented, Pan Pacific Manila’s famed Pacific Lounge raised the bar when it comes to dinner buffet with new stations featuring epicurean choices that are sure to please even the most discriminating palate every Friday, starting 7 pm for only Php 1,200 net per person.

Experience first-hand the local culture and traditions of various Asian countries with Open Spit Roast, a Filipino-style charcoal-roasted meat; Gourmet Samgyupsal where guests can customize their own Korean side dish to go with thin slices of pork and beef; Grill to Chill, a grilling station featuring marinated beef brochettes, chicken gizzards, and fresh seafoods; Ol’time Shawarma station; and Halo-Halo Atbp., a dedicated dessert selection.

Aside from these new stations, diners can still enjoy other Asian Street Eat favorites including Indonesian mixed satay; straight-from-the-wok fish and prawn balls, Yakitori Japanese skewers, tokwa’t baboy (tofu and pork), Singaporean Laksa, delicious spread of Filipino nibblers such as balut and penoy (native duck egg delicacies), chicharon baboy at bulaklak (crispy pork rind and entrails); Arabic grillings; Fried rice specials such as Chinese Yang Chow, Nasi Goreng, Indian Biryani; sweets such as taho (tofu with sweet syrup) , turon saba (fried plantain bananas with jackfruit and sugar roll), kamote-Q (sweet potato on a stick) and ube (purple yam) among others.
