Building Protection Through Protectosil®

In April, Jebsen & Jessen Chemicals Philippines (JJCHP), Evonik Degussa and the Structural Engineers Association of Davao, jointly organised a full day product launch event for Protectosil® in Davao City, Philippines.

The event was organised to introduce the product range of Protectosil® to the Philippines market. Protectosil^® is one of the most successful brands in building protection. Well known in the field of hydrophobisation (water repellents), graffiti control, corrosion inhibition (corrosion inhibitor treatment) and surface protection (easy-to-clean), the range of Protectosil^® products provides the perfect solution for almost every material, from concrete and bricks to natural stone, sandstone, marble, granite and render.

More than 150 guests from major cities around the Philippines attended the event including engineers, government officials and representatives from food processing companies and port authorities. A demonstration gave participants a first-hand experience on the performance and application scope of Protectosil® and an ongoing application trial at seaport areas and in a cement factory in Davao has been arranged in conjunction with the launch.

“With the successful launch of Protectosil®, we laid a strong foundation and built a pathway to bring this technology to the islands of the Philippines,” says Ms Lim Siew Tin, general manager of JJCHP.
