Bridging for a just transition

Welcome to a thought-provoking panel discussion, Bridging for a Just Transition, where leading figures from trade unions, environmental organisations, business, and the public sector will come together to explore how we can achieve a fair and inclusive transition towards a sustainable future. In the face of complex global challenges, this event will focus on the importance of fostering constructive and respectful dialogue among diverse stakeholders to drive meaningful change.

We are delighted to have contributions from the WIN WIN Awards laureates, ITUC Just Transition Centre, and Nature and Youth, who will offer valuable international perspectives on navigating these intricate processes.

Agenda:

11:30-12:30 Panel Discussion: Experts will share insights on creating effective dialogue in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

12:30-13:30 Lunch Mingle: Enjoy a vegetarian lunch while networking with fellow participants and continuing conversations in an informal setting.

13:30-15:30 Round Table Discussions: A select number of participants will have the opportunity to join deeper, focused discussions. Please express your interest in participating in these discussions when you register.

Moderator:

Johan Holmén (Chalmers University of Technology) Johan, a PhD in Physical Resource Theory, specializes in sustainable system transitions. His research focuses on practical approaches to tackling society's complex sustainability challenges. He also serves as the expert advisor for the WIN WIN Gothenburg Sustainability Youth Award 2024.
