Joakim Ruud – Chief Commercial Officer at T.Loop

We are pleased to announce that Joakim Ruud, executive director of T.Loop, has now taken on the role of Chief Commercial Officer. Joakim has already made significant contributions to T.Loop’s success in various strategic ventures. He brings with him extensive and successful international experience in strategic sales within the IT industry, having worked with companies such as Amazon, DXC, IBM, and Accenture. In recent years, Joakim has primarily served as an advisor to private equity firms.

“T.Loop is pioneering the utilization of waste heat generated in data centers to heat properties. Over the past year, we have witnessed energy costs skyrocket in both Sweden and Europe. To successfully navigate the green energy transition, we must harness all available energy resources. The creation of Data Energy Centers within existing buildings in central locations, which not only heat the existing structure but also utilize surplus energy in batteries and backup power to support the grid, will be a crucial component in achieving our zero-emission goals. Joakim holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Purdue University. Joakim has assumed his position.
