Nu är det dags för att för Båtmässan och Maringuiden att för första gången kora Årets Segelbåt i Sverige. Nio båtar är nominerade till det nyinstiftade priset där juryn består av både seglare och expertis.
I samband med pressträffen på Öppna Varv i Ellös den 24 augusti kommer de nio nomineringarna till det nya hederspriset ”Årets Segelbåt” att presenteras. Priset har kommit till för att premiera bra båtar och ge nordiska båtar samma chans till uppmärksamhet som nyheter på kontinenten.
Andra lördagen i februari nästa år delar Båtmässan i Göteborg för första gången ut det nyuppsatta hederspriset Årets Segelbåt. Priset är ett initiativ av seglaren och båttestaren Curt Gelin, som menar att det är dags att premiera intressanta nya segelbåtar även i Sverige och att ge skandinaviska båtar samma chans som europeiska att bli uppmärksammade.
Svenska Mässan Gothia Towers är norra Europas största mötesplats för helhetsupplevelser med ett unikt läge mitt i evenemangsområdet i centrala Göteborg. Mötesplatsen grundades 1918 och arrangerar och driver idag mässor, möten, hotell, restauranger och spa. Varje år välkomnas två miljoner besökare från hela världen att mötas, äta och bo hos oss.
