As one of the most trafficked web sites in Sweden, Dagens Nyheter has invested substantially in finding the best technology to deliver a quality user experience to users on all devices including via Live Streaming and being able to monetize usage.

Anna Åberg, Head of digital at Dagens Nyheter, said: “Screen9 became our new video partner from the beginning of March.  DN has high demands on video, both Live Streaming and On Demand, and we are confident that Screen9 will meet our current and future needs.”

Screen9 was selected for delivering a technically robust, flexible and easy to integrate platform.  This includes VAST advertising support, On Demand viewing and advanced Live Streaming capabilities.  Additionally Screen9 Online Video Platform was able to seamlessly link into the existing technical infrastructure, including flexibly integrating with the existing Content Delivery Network (CDN).

Screen9 is pleased to support Dagens Nyheter.  Robert Risberg, CEO at Screen9, said: “We are honoured to be selected to power Web TV on DN.se.  Our flexible platform has been developed to allow partners to be up and running as quickly as possible and it’s great to see these speedy integrations in action."
