Mirga-Tas' textile works challenge antiziganist stereotypes

In textile works, installations, paintings and sculptures, Małgorzata Mirga-Tas deals with antiziganist stereotypes and engages in building an affirmative and situated iconography of Roma communities from the perspective of a feminism of minority. In January 2023 Göteborgs Konsthall presents the solo exhibition Suno Mange Dzalas / I have a dream with the Polish-Romani artist.

Every Leaf Is an Eye - new exhibition at Göteborgs Konsthall

This winter´s group exhibiton at Göteborgs Konsthall is called Every Leaf Is an Eye. Artworks from different parts of the world highlight current issues and personal experiences around land conflicts, exploitation of natural resources and the rights of indigenous peoples. Participating artists: Isuma, Simon Gush, Otobong Nkanga, Anders Sunna & Michiel Brouwer. Opens December 7th 2019.

Nationell och internationell samtidskonst

Göteborgs Konsthall ligger vid Götaplatsen i centrala Göteborg. Konsthallen presenterar grupp- och soloutställningar med svenska och internationella konstnärer som visar mångfalden inom den samtida konsten. Parallellt arrangeras konstnärssamtal, skollektioner, filmvisningar och andra programaktiviteter. Göteborgs Konsthall har alltid fri entré och fria visningar.
