Ernströmgruppen acquires Daniamant

"We are pleased to welcome Daniamant and its team on board as a global niche leader complementing Ernströmgruppens´ subsidiaries CM Hammar and Polyform. Our combined entrepreneurial strength in marine safety will benefit our customers," says Håkan Skutberg, Head of Business Area Global Niche Products, Ernströmgruppen.

Daniamant was founded 1975 in Slangerup, Denmark and specializes in products that contribute to safety at sea. The company operates with sales on a global market from two production sites in Denmark and UK respectively with a yearly turnover of approximately 90 mDKK. Their product range consists of three product groups: Survivor Locator Lights, Bridge and Voyage Alarms, Salinity and Oil-in-Water Sensors.

Det svenska elnätet är eftersatt och driftsäkerheten riskerar att försämras när behovet ökar. En omfattande uppgradering är därför en ödesfråga om Sverige ska elektrifiera fler samhällsområden och klara klimatomställningen. Ernströmgruppen vill vara en aktiv aktör i det arbetet. Därför förvärvar bolaget det Örebrobaserade företaget Hammarel som är specialiserat på lågspänningsställverk.

Ernströmgruppen ”skriver” in sig i Bondtech

Under senaste åren har det blivit vanligare att tillverkning av bland annat komponenter och reservdelar görs anpassat efter behov, i stället för att förhålla sig till specifika standarder. 3D-skrivare kan både användas av konsumenter och företag, när standardiserade produkter inte uppfyller behovet. Med Ernströmgruppen som ägare kommer Bondtech bygga vidare på sitt globala ledarskap i sin nisch.
