日立が米国マイアミで鉄道車両工場を開設
株式会社日立製作所(執行役社長兼COO:東原 敏昭／以下、日立)の鉄道システム事業におけるグループ会社である日立レールイタリア社(CEO: モーリッツィオ・マンフェロット)の米国事業会社、日立レールUSA社(CEO:ジャンパオロ・ヌオンノ)は、3月16日に米国フロリダ州マイアミ・デイド郡に新たな鉄道車両工場を開設しました。カルロス・ヒメネス マイアミ・デイド郡長やグローリア・ ベレッリ イタリア総領事をはじめとする約200名の出席のもと、開所式が開催され、来賓のスピーチや工場見学などが行われました。新工場では、マイアミ・デイド交通向けの車両を製造します。新工場設立の投資額は、約150万ドルです。
