ETP’s original product, ETP-CLASSIC, is a hydraulic connection consisting of a hardened, double-walled steel sleeve containing a specially developed pressure medium, sealing ring, piston, pressure flange and cap head clamping screws.
ETP-EXPRESS functions as a hydraulic connection, operating with a single screw for pressurizing. The result? Quick mounting, dismantling, as well as hub repositioning and adjustments, that can all be easily performed with impeccable accuracy.
Today three major solutions are commonly used in the hub-shaft connections industry. Keyway connections, Mechanical clamping connections and Hydraulic clamping connections. This article presents the basics of each technique.
