It will be a completely new experience to visit Kunsthal Charlottenborg over the summer. For the first time, all walls have been knocked down in the large south wing to make room for three giant and sliced wind turbine wings, when the art gallery opens its doors for the exhibition STRIPPED by Lea Porsager - one of Denmark’s most dynamic young artists on the international scene.
On September 29, The World is in You opens at Kunsthal Charlottenborg – this year’s major autumn exhibition in collaboration with Medical Museion. Through science, art, and history, it will explore how our bodies are connected to the universe, and will showcase new bio-art, historic artefacts, meteorites and a 7-meter diameter rotating globe.
Den 29. september åbner 'Verden er i dig' på Kunsthal Charlottenborg – efterårets store udstilling skabt i samarbejde med Medicinsk Museion. Gennem videnskab, kunst og historie undersøger udstillingen, hvordan vores kroppe er forbundet med verden i og omkring os, og præsenterer alt fra ny biokunst og malerier til meteoritter og en 7 meter stor roterende jordklode.

Det bliver en helt ny oplevelse at gå på Kunsthal Charlottenborg over sommeren. Alle vægge er for første gang væltet i den store sydfløj for at gøre plads til tre gigantiske og skiveskårne vindmøllevinger, når kunsthallen slår dørene op for udstillingen STRIPPED af Lea Porsager – én af Danmarks mest fremadstormende kunstnere internationalt.
Laure Prouvost has taken audiences and critics by storm after the opening of the exhibition 'Our elastic arm hold in tight through the claouds' – a total installation incorporating a new major film work. On the occasion of the exhibition, Kunsthal Charlottenborg now presents a special film programme presenting a selection of the artist’s works, on from 1 June – 4 July 2021 at Kunsthal Charlotte
Laure Prouvost har taget både publikum og anmeldere med storm efter åbningen af udstillingen 'Our elastic arm hold in tight through the claouds' - en totalinstallation med et helt nyt filmværk. I anledning af udstillingen præsenterer Kunsthal Charlottenborg nu et helt særligt filmprogram med det franske kunstikon, der kan opleves 1. juni – 4. juli 2021 i kunsthallens biograf.

Wind-turbine blades cut into slices, magnetic prayer wheels and sexualised icon paintings are some of the elements featured in Lea Porsager’s solo show STRIPPED, on throughout the summer at Kunsthal Charlottenborg. In this major exhibition, visitors will find works that explore the boundaries between body, knowledge and metaphysics.
Vindmøllevinger i skiver, magnetiske bønnehjul og seksualiserede ikonmalerier er nogle af elementerne i Lea Porsagers soloudstilling STRIPPED, som man kan opleve henover sommeren på Kunsthal Charlottenborg. I denne store præsentation vil besøgende møde værker, der udforsker grænserne mellem krop, viden og metafysik.
Nu præsenterer Kunsthal Charlottenborg en ny version af 'do it (home)' i samarbejde med Independent Curators International (ICI) i New York og den anerkendte kurator Hans Ulrich Obrist: 14 af de deltagende kunstnere fra 'Afgang 2021' deler instruktioner til nye kunstværker der bl.a. byder på organkys, en ny form form for ferie og duftoplevelser.

Den Turner Prize-vindende kunstner Laure Prouvost er verdenskendt for sine totalinstallationer og repræsenterede Frankrig ved Venedig Biennalen 2019. Nu præsenterer Kunsthal Charlottenborg hendes første soloudstilling i Skandinavien, Our elastic arm hold in tight through the claouds, der er en del at dette års program på CPH:DOX.
