The DERF is temporary closing down for new crisis alerts
For being able to support humanitarian crises throughout the entire year, the DERF operates with a quarterly allocation model that regulates how much of the available funds may be spend each quarter of the year. During the second quarter we only may spend half of the funds available this year.
The DERF has now reached the limit of having spent half of the funds available. Therefore, the DERF management team has decided NOT to receive further alerts from now on and until the 31st of July 2024, when work is resumed after the summer break.
The closing for new alerts will have no effect on applications already received. All applications received under the current and past calls will be supported if they are assessed worthy support.
