Landbrugskoncernen Danish Agro har udarbejdet en ambitiøs plan for at gøre koncernens energiforbrug mere bæredygtigt ved aktivt at investere i energiproduktion. De nye projekter skal laves i samarbejde med landmændene for at sikre, at sammenhængskraften mellem Danish Agro og landbruget forbliver lige så stærk, som den altid har været.

Hver kvadratmeter tæller, og derfor arbejder Landbrugskoncernen Danish Agro aktivt på at skabe værktøjer, der nemt kan implementeres, og som virker på tværs. Med afgrøder som linser, hamp og hestebønner til plantebaserede fødevarer er Andreas Krogh godt i gang med at dyrke de afgrøder, der ofte tales om som en del af fremtidens planteavl. Arealet med afgrøderne er stadig småt, for det vigtigste lige nu er læringen og dygtiggørelsen af at dyrke de nye afgrøder til plantebaserede fødevarer.

Såsædsforædlingsselskabet Nordic Seed, der er ejet af Danish Agro og Vestjyllands Andel, fortsætter sin rivende udvikling og køber nu forædlingsstationen i Dyngby ved Odder, som man hidtil har lejet. Med i handlen følger også 20 hektar jord.
