2019 Intangible Assets Financial Statement Impact Report, EMEA Edition

We are excited to announce that the “2019 Intangible Assets Financial Statement Impact Report, EMEA Edition” has now been released.

The latest research conducted by the Ponemon Institute and sponsored by Aon, finds that organisations across EMEA value information assets higher than they do their PP&E - yet there continues to be a significant disparity between the amount of insurance bought for PP&E, compared to insurance bought for information assets.

New to the 2019 report: The rise in intangible assets

In the 2019 study, we have also examined the cyber threat to intellectual property and how organisations are managing this risk. A better understanding of the relative financial statement impact will assist organisations in allocating resources and determining appropriate risk transfer solutions.

I hope that you find this research valuable to understanding the increase in cyber risk exposure and importance of safeguarding intangible assets when managing cyber risk.
