Yanmar will choose the Genoa International Boat Show to reveal the America’s Cup edition of its flagship X47 Express Cruiser. The Express Cruiser has been chosen as the Official VIP Cruiser of the 36th America’s Cup Presented by Prada.
Yanmar Co., Ltd. has revealed further details about its innovative new brand flagship, the X47 Express Cruiser - the 47-foot vessel that will serve as the Official VIP Cruiser the 36th America’s Cup presented by Prada, the oldest trophy in international sport and the pinnacle of yachting.
Yanmar has been selected as Official Marine Supplier to The America’s Cup World Series presented by Prada. Yanmar’s marine diesel engines will be used on the America’s Cup Race Management boats, essential for their role in the successful delivery of the America’s Cup on the water. Racing is set to commence in August 2019, with the finals held in Auckland, New Zealand in March of 2021.
