Biking Dalarna is a
Vasaloppet, the ski race between Sälen and Mora, is the world’s biggest long-distance ski race. In 2022, Vasaloppet will be 100 years old and celebrated with a Jubileumsvasa (Jubilee Vasaloppet), a race in tribute to the pioneers that put the first race together in 1922 with 139 participants. Also a new race, Vasaloppet 10, is intended to be a roughly 10 km long, 100th birthday party.
Visit Dalarna is the Regional Tourism Organization for Dalarna. Our mission is to develop, market and sell the region Dalarna nationally and internationally. We work with business development, Travel Trade, (digital) communication and PR.
We have knowledge of all accommodation, activities and attractions in Dalarna and work close to the region's tourism businesses.
