Formex, the interior design fair held 18–21 January 2017 will involve 21 Young Designers – Formex’s platform for young, unestablished talent. The magic of glass, encounters between cultures, and patriarchal structures are things that inspire some of the designers who will be exhibiting at the next fair.
Young Designers - Formex platform for young and unestablished talents will have a new layout and design this fall, August 24-27. Behind the new look is designer and architect Mattias Stenberg.
Every season Formex receives a number of exciting applications for Young Designers – Formex's platform for young, unestablished designers. At the fair in August 19-22, 23 selected designers will be introduced in different categories, including SAGA MELINA and Nina Johanna Christensen, who are participating for the first time.
To Greenhouse, designers and design colleges from all over the world are welcome to apply to participate. The Jury has now selected the exhibitors in Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair’s hall for young and up-and-coming designers in 2015. They include Frej Wichmann, M-S-D-S Studio, Malin Bobeck and Pettersen & Hein. 33 designers or design teams and 30 design colleges will be taking part in all.
Many of today's established designers made their breakthrough exhibiting at Young Designers, Formex's platform for young, up-and-coming designers. Participants in the spring edition, January 14-17, 2015, will include Eduards Accessories, MÚK and Maria Sandberg Textiles for the first time.
Between 19 and 22 January 2012, it will be time for the eighth Young Designers event, Formex's platform for unestablished designers. It will also be the fourth time that Next Step has been organised, the next step to an ordinary stand at Formex.

Simon Key Bertman has been commissioned to design this fall’s Young Design Café at Formex. For the sixth successive time, a young Swedish designer will be responsible for creating Young Design Café, which also includes the Young Designers zone and a stage area.
The 20th to 23rd January sees the sixth Young Designers exhibition, the Formex platform for unestablished young designers.
