Sigma Technology is an active partner contributing to the development of Linnaeus University’s course on Digital Product Passports for Sustainable Value Chains. The course is the first in Sweden to connect academic research, practical workshops, and industry needs to strengthen Swedish businesses ahead of the upcoming EU requirements for Digital Product Passports (DPP).
Today, on New Year’s Eve it is five years since the Danir Group launched International Expect a Better Tomorrow Day, an initiative to promote ideas that will contribute to a better future. Sigma Technology starts a new female programming network Embla with a vision to inspire more women to pursue a career in embedded programming and create a safe place for knowledge sharing and networking. The first online event will take place on March 24th.

The female IT network WiTech has grown from 0 to 200 active members during its first year. Today, women from over 40 companies in Kronoberg and Kalmar region attend WiTech’s tech talks and casual afterworks. On November 24, WiTech arranged an anniversary event at Sigma Technology’s new office in ICON, Växjö.
