Green Cargo først i Norden til å ta i bruk Eurodual-lokomotivet

Green Cargo setter i drift de to første nestegenerasjon gods-lokomotivene i Norge. De nye Eurodual-lokomotivene er sterkere, bedre tilpasset tøff, norsk natur og vil redusere forsinkelsene i jernbanenettet. Med det nye lokomotivet kan ett godstog frakte like mye som 30 lastebiler. Norge er det første landet i Norden som tar i bruk det nye lokomotivet.

AGA Gas and Green Cargo extend partnership agreement with rail freight to Norway

​In August, AGA Gas and Green Cargo further extended their partnership agreement with shipments from Sweden to Norway. Health, safety and the environment are prioritized areas for both AGA Gas and Green Cargo, and through their continued partnership, cargo will be transported efficiently and safely, with an annual reduction of 150,000 kg of carbon dioxide.

Sustainable Logistics

Green Cargo is a sustainable logistics partner and a crucial part of Scandinavia's trade and industry. Almost 98 percent of our transports takes place using electric trains with a very low climate impact. Every 24 hours, some 400 freight trains depart, replacing around 9,000 truckloads on the road network. We serve close to 300 locations in Sweden, Norway and Denmark through our network, and with our partners we reach all of Europe. Green Cargo is owned by the Swedish State. We transport 20 million tonnes of freight, have 1,800 employees and annual sales of about SEK 4,2 billion (2023).
