Falck restructures its Safety Services
The rescue and safety group Falck is restructuring its business division Falck Safety Services. The move is in response to the global crisis in the oil and gas industry.
Substantial growth in Falck – but severely affected by the crisis in the oil and gas industry
While Falck successfully increased revenue and strengthened its position in Europe and on the North and Latin American markets, the crisis in the global oil and gas industry affected Falck so harshly that the Group realised a loss of DKK 523 million for 2015 compared with a profit of DKK 218 million for 2014.
Falck significantly strengthened its international position in 2014
In 2014, Falck successfully took further steps towards its goal of becoming a global provider of services assisting people in emergency situations and preventing and mitigating the effects of illness and accidents. Falck significantly strengthened its position on the most important markets in Europe, Latin America and the United States, winning several major new and repeat contracts.
Falck continues global expansion
Falck’s Annual Report for 2013 shows revenue growth of 9.0% to DKK 12.5 billion, mainly generated in the current business, where organic growth accounted for 7.7%. The share of Falck's revenue generated outside Denmark continued to increase and was 53.4% in 2013, up from 51.6% in 2012.
