Founded in a common focus on sustainability and innovation, Duni Group and the British company Notpla enter into a new collaboration. As a first step of the collaboration, Duni Group is launching a new plastic-free food packaging with a unique algae coating, developed by Notpla, which offers both functionality and improved environmental performance.

Duni Group is taking the next step towards the goal of being a net-zero emissions company by 2050 with defined progress by 2030. Committing to set Science Based Targets ensures the work towards further reductions of the Group’s greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Paris Climate Agreement. This enables the company’s climate work to become more transparent and reviewed by external experts.

Duni Group first in the world to use fossil free propane gas in paper production – a major step towards a 90-per-cent lower climate footprint

Duni Group’s journey towards fossil-free operations continues as the first delivery of fossil free propane gas (BioLPG) arrived at the subsidiary Rexcell Tissue & Airlaid’s in Skåpafors. The transition to BioLPG is a major step forward to an increasingly circular business model and a lower climate impact. Duni Group is therefore the first company in the paper industry and the world to use BioLPG.
