Gold medal to BioMax GP at Poland’s leading cattle fair

Biomax GP, CH’s latest inoculant silage additive improving the nutritive value of grass, was recognized as “a new quality product at the fair”, where we were represented by our distributor, Orffa Polska. It is the second time that a gold medal is awarded to a Chr. Hansen silage inoculant distributor this year.

When our Polish distributor received the gold medal certificate for Biomax GP at the recent cattle fair in Poznan, it was not only a great honor for both Orffa Polska and for Chr. Hansen – it was also the second gold medal awarded to a Chr. Hansen silage inoculant distributor this year.

Only in January, our Danish distributor Danish Genetics, were awarded the gold medal at Agromek for their cow mats.

“The Biomax GP launch in 2006 was a huge success and we have treated record volumes of silage,” says David Seale, Technical Sales Manager, Animal Health, for Europe.

Launch and medal at the same time

“In 2007, we have begun to sell Biomax GP in Poland through our distributor, who is a leading, well recognised and long established supplier of additives to the animal feed sector. It was decided that the best place to begin the official launch for Biomax GP in Poland was at the Cattle Fair in Posnan, which is the leading fair of it's kind in Poland, and which provided a unique opportunity to present Biomax GP to our target customers," explains David.

In advance of the fair, Orffa sent the 380 biggest dairy farmers in Poland a mailshot containing an invitation letter to visit their stand (which prominantly featured Biomax GP), Biomax GP product information and a free entry ticket to the cattle fair, which is a major event with 18,000 visitors.
