​Gather Festival - Stockholm's SXSW

Gather Festival is a new innovation- and inspiration festival that takes place in Stockholm, September 14-16. Gather's conference program contains a mix of international and Swedish speakers and sessions within the festival's five themes: Urban Development, Democracy, Human Vs. Machine, Economics and Communication – all combined with a solid music and culture program featuring international artists and DJ’s.

The festival is put together with the purpose of connecting participants with different perspectives, experiences, and ideas through lectures, innovation labs and music experiences.

The speakers we’ve booked are some of the world's and Sweden's most contemporary and exciting innovators and researchers”, says Program Editor Paulina Modlitba Söderlund, who previously worked with the programs for the Tekla Festival, The Web Days and Women in Tech.

In addition, Gather Festival also offers a solid music and culture program. Amanda Bergman, Lady Leshurr, Fatima Al Qadiri, LASH, Naomi Pilgrim are but some of the acts that will perform at Gather Festival.

Gather Festival is a combination of conference and festival, much like South by Southwest (SXSW), the American conglomerate of film, interactive media and music festivals and conferences that take place mid-March in Austin, Texas.

Gather Festival is organized for the first time this year by a hand-picked team of innovators, communicators and nightlife experts in collaboration with partners like Accenture, Adobe, Akademiska Hus, Atrium Ljungberg, Berghs, EQT Ventures, Fastighetesägarna, FundedByMe, Radar Collective, The Swedish Tax Agency and the Swedish Institute. The festival takes place at Nobelberget, Sickla Industriväg 6 in Stockholm.
